Making money... (wishful thinking?)

Well, I don't write very often in here but perhaps I will try this again. In an attempt to update things on my webpage I managed to erase half of this blog. Luckily it is also online and I managed to salvage it! Whoo hoo.

I am now trying to use my creative side to make a little bit of money. I tried google ads for a little bit and over the course of a year I have earned $6.90. To make that even better they won't send it out to me until it is at least $50. I guess it might be a while to see anything there but I guess what can you do? The new attempt is through a site called Cafepress.com. It allows to to make up slogans and logos and then have them put onto various items. I have several different designs online and I've been trying to find ways to draw attention to them. I think if a few people manage to look at them they may catch on and I might get a few dollars here and there. So far I'm only out a little money to purchase a domain name. If anyone reading this hasn't yet gotten around to purchasing their own domain I recommend doing it as soon as you can. It's hard to describe the excitement of actually having your own address on the internet. It's so much easier to tell people to go to www.duckyplanet.com instead of some long drawn out name. I finally feel like my page actually has it's own place on the internet. For me the feeling is similar to owning your first car. It's all yours and you can use it for whatever you want. And it's so much cheaper :)
