Worked on stuff at the Renaissance Festival today

Well, I managed to get a lot done today even with a late start. Leia, Juliann and I went out to work on the King of the Log site at MRF. We all woke up late and headed to Menards to pick up a few things and then headed out there to get stuff done. We hung a new sign on the house that I had made a couple of weeks ago. I made my "deer stand" stand up on it's own. It's actually a platform that people can stand in to draw attention to the game, also known as hawking. I also managed to upgrade it a bit by adding an actual ladder to get up into it. We also built some shelves to go into one of the back areas. In between all this I managed to fix up one of the windows with wood that had rotted entirely and we put out all the hay bales around our site.

In all it was a very productive day and a fun day since it was a chance to hang out with a lot of friends that I don't get to see often enough during the year. Well, I guess that's about it from me. I have to run and do some laundry. Yippee... :(
