Pictures from Annie

Here are several pictures from a set for Annie that I had designed and built. This set was built over the course of a few weeks with just two or three people working most of the time. It was a hard build and I ended up running out of time to finish some of the work but in the end it all worked out okay. This first picture is a rendered view of the orphanage as I had designed it. During the last couple weeks of rehearsal they switched directors so some of the planned ideas were taken away. The small differences between doorways and platforms reflect the changes brought on by a new director.

This picture is the finished set from the orphanage. The main part of the set broke into two seperate pieces and could form the other needed scenes.

This is how the street scene ended up.

This is a full stage version of Daddy Warbucks. As you can tell it ended up being a little bare in the end. Time ran out and several pictures never managed to get hung, but overall it worked out fairly well. This was formed by using the backside of the orphanage set. and pulling out the step unit.

This is a closer view of the set unit and the fireplace.

This is one of the few pictures that I have with actors on the set. It is taken from the very end in the Warbucks' house.
