Bye Bye Birdie

This was the first show I designed the set for with Applause Community Theatre. It was an interesting experience. I worked in a cramped shop basically by myself. A few people came by to help paint in the end but that was about it. It was one of the bigger sets they had done and it had a lot of set pieces that were brought out at various times.

This is a closer picture of the main house. In this picture you can see much of the kitchen and the appliances all of which were made by me. The Stove and fridge could both be opened. The sink which is barely visible was made from a spray painted rubber maid container and a cheap faucet.
