The Augustinian Seal
The flaming heart pierced by an arrow, superimposed on an open book. A summary of the person of Augustine , theologian and saint: intense searcher for divine truth, impassioned follower of Christ and the Church. It also summarizes Augustinian spirituality: searching for truth in love, which causes the many to be of one mind and one heart intent upon the Lord.
