The New Fairfield Community Thrift Shop is run entirely by volunteers, without whom it could not operate. If you can spare as little as two hours per week, you are encouraged to join us. It is a fun and rewarding experience, as well as an opportunity to meet new people and make new friends.

Volunteer duties include sorting and pricing donations, arranging and organizing merchandise, working the cash register, and more.

In addition to general volunteers, the Shop also needs volunteers with special skills like carpenters, electricians, painters, etc., who are willing to work on a periodic basis.

High school students can fulfill their required community service hours by volunteering at the Shop.

If you would like to volunteer, or have any questions about volunteering, please call the Shop at 203-746-9247.

To volunteer, you will need to fill out our volunteer form, which you can download and print out here:
