The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of getting free food donated every day to abused and neglected animals. It takes less than a minute to go to this site and click on the purple banner that says, "feed an animal in need" for free. This doesn't cost you a thing and they don’t ask for information about you. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the numbers of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising. http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com

Coyote Creek does not "sell" rescued dogs or puppies, we adopt them out to compatible homes for an adoption fee of $150 for mature dogs and $300 for puppies (under 12 months old). Rescued dogs are not placed on a "first come, first served" basis.

We try to match up the needs of the dog or puppy with the desires and lifestyle of the adopting family. Dogs who are adopted through us have received their shots, a heartworm test, are on heartworm preventative, and have been examined by a veterinarian. In many cases, the dog may have had other medical procedures or surgery. In all cases the dogs will be adopted only after having been spayed or neutered. There will be no exceptions.

If for any reason you are unable to keep the dog you adopt, the dog MUST be returned to Coyote Creek and may not be given or sold to your neighbor, friend, relative, animal shelter, humane society, veterinarian or anyone else.

Before donating money or placing your pets in a sanctuary or a rescue, always ask for references and check for credibility. Donors should check the organization's tax return (IRS 990) to see where the sanctuary receives its funds and how much actually goes towards the animals (ie. food, vet care, and new enclosures). Good resources are Charity Navigator, iGive, GuideStar, etc... Donors may also want to check to see if the sanctuary is a member of the BBB Charity Wise Giving.
