BLACK 'N BLUE
With four albums released on a major label (Geffen), Gene Simmons sitting behind the board for their last two releases, and subsequent tours opening for KISS, BLACK 'N BLUE was destined to be a huge success. However, it never came to be. Truly one of the most underrated bands to ever exist. No bad albums, no bad songs. Good time music that's impossible not to sing along to but with enough grit, energy, and attitude to get the fists pumping. I've seen their first three CD's go for over $100 on E-bay (CD-R's for over $50), a testament to exactly how good they were and the lasting impression they made. The entire discography is highly recommended, unfortunately all but "In Heat" are almost impossible to find.

Hip-O Records (a division of Universal) has recently released "Black 'N Blue: Ultimate Collection" which consists of 20 songs, half of the bands released material with extensive liner notes on the bands history. It's release will hopefully spark enough interest to warrant a reissue of the entire catalog.
