| What can I say about Running Wild? Well, let's face it, most of their stuff sounds the same. But, that's not a bad thing. Hell, look at AC/DC consistency pays off. Running Wild are kind of the same way for me. All their material sounds similar, but it's all great pounding Metal!
On the past couple albums, Running Wild has really only consisted of Rock N Rolf. On THE BROTHERHOOD, Rolf does everything himself, except the drums, so it's come down to a two-man show now. Well, actually there's a bass player listed, but I don't know how much that guy did. Again, this doesn't mean it sucks. It's actually a very solid album. Rolf's voice is in top shape and the production is flawless. I kind of sense that Rolf is getting loosened up and is getting used to the album process. He's been doing this for a long time now, so he knows better than anyone what works. I read that there's no drums machines or triggers on this new album, so you get a natural drum sound on THE BROTHERHOOD. Some songs are again about pirates, but you've got some other songs about ghosts, demons, TV shows and other savory stuff. Don't let the lame cover fool you into not checking out this album. It's got some great songs. If you like any of the band's other material, you'll like THE BROTHERHOOD. DISCOGRAPHY:
