One of my favorite albums of the year— straight up kick ass Power Metal.

KAMELOT - Karma (Century Media)

The band matures a little on this Melodic Power Metal album. I still like The Fourth Legacy more, but a good album regardless.

FALCONER - Falconer (Metal Blade)

Very promising debut from this Power Metal band.

MARK BOALS - Ring Of Fire (Frontier)

Former Yngwie Malmsteen singer's successful solo effort featuring Virgil Donati on drums and Tony MacAlpine on guitar!

ANGRA - Rebirth (SPV)

Brazilian Metal legends regroup and make a nice return.
