Build a second analog input for your Audigy-Page 5

Here is an example of a simple custom DSP that you can set up to handle the Line in and new AUX in that you make. I won't go into details about how to create a custom DSP since that has been covered by other kX users. This link is a good resource for setting up a DSP and many other kX topics.

I suggest using kX driver version 3534f for Win 98SE and ME maybe 2000 (I haven't used Win 2000 with kX so some other versions might be preferable for it). It seems to be the most effiecient in preventing pops and clicks.
Version 3544a, the latest Beta, at the moment, (Aug. 3, 2008) is the best one yet for XP or Vista and includes 24 bit ASIO for the first time with kX drivers:

Here is another Webpage explaining how to hook multiple kX compatible sound cards together. It is another method to obtain extra inputs:

ProFX plugins for 3534f and 3544a needed to make the DSP shown below.
NOTE: At this time, (August 3, 2008), ProFXSRC does not function properly for FXBus 0/1, FXBus 2/3, FXBus etc...
You need to substitute FXBusX for the ProFXSRC plugins used for FXBus outs, (If you are using 3544a) . Other ProFX plugins appear to work properly. It is possible that the programmer for ProFX will find time to fix this but the workaround is pretty painless.
The "ProFX: ADC" plugin is used to access the AUX input.
