Exposure: R;G;B; 20 x 20" Location: West Boylston, MA

Processing:
  1. Combined each color set in Registax
  2. Aligned/combined those sets in PS7
  3. Adjusted color for each channel
    • Image>Hue/Saturation
    • Select "colorize"
    • Adjust Hue to proper color for each layer
    • Go into Blending options for each layer
    • check only the RG or B as applicable
  4. Adjusted levels and curves
  5. removed the gradient
    • Duplicate the image
    • Apply dust&scratches filter to create an image with no stars
    • Cloned out the bright central area of this mask
    • Applied a gaussian blur to soften it
    • Applied the image via Image->Apply Image with blending mode set to subtract and opacity set to 50%
  6. Finally, I applied a mild unsharp mask to punch up the stars a bit.
