1774 March 29 - from John Sullins of H, to John Baird of Prince George County, for 12 "L" 18 shillings 1.25 pence, a certain tract of land of 200 acres on Mayo Cr, being the land Sullins now lives on, as a deed from Joseph Gill Sr to Sullins will mre fully describe. Also 3 Negroes named George, Will, and Jeany, 2 mares (a bay and a gray), 12 cattle marked with a crop and a slit in the right and overkeel in the left, 40 hoggs with the same mark. To have and to hold, upon trust that Baird shall sell the estate, and from the money arising from the sale, discharge the debt and related expenses. The overplus, if any, goes to Sullins. 1785 Jan 11 - from John Sullins, executor of the will of Josiah Sullins, decd, and also for himself, of Rutherford County, NC, to James Johnston of H. sd Josiah Sullins, by his will dated Jan 31, 1773, devised the land whereon he then lived, lying in H on the north side of the South fork of Miry (Miery) Cr to be sold, & the money arising therefrom to be divieded among his children. This deed therefor witnesses that sd John Sullins, for 75 "L", sells to sd James Johnson, all the afd tract of land in H, and containing about 147 acres, and bounded by Jones, Davis.
