MARCH 2005
“Greetings from Chapter 64”-Welcome to Spring!! We turn the clocks forward this weekend giving us all another hour of daylight to enjoy some flying. Hope to see you all at Sun-n-Fun!! It is just around the corner. THANKS JUDY AND DON FOR THE GREAT PASTA. On a sad note, we are sorry to hear of the sudden death of Bob Boelling, the director of the St. Louis Air and Space Museum.
The March minutes are as follows:

Treasurer’s Report: As of 2/8/05, we had a balance
of $14,806.40. This after the usual incoming New Athens, rent, dues, food
receipts, and outgoing of meeting room rent, holiday party expenses, and a
$100 donation to the Greater St. Louis Air and Space Museum.
Correspondence: Mike had one piece of correspondence but
I neglected to get the story on this.
Old Business: The New Athens roof is done. Andre finished
his part for a total of $650.00 and a new gutter was put on the church building,
to hopefully eliminate a further erosion of our roof membrane. The gutter
total was $178.50. With several new members in attendance, Walt explained
how we came to be in the rental business. Thanks again Curt.
Nothing new on our donated tug. Hopefully Henry will be at the April meeting
to fill us in. The scholarship was discussed and a new rule was set. It is
