Azimuth and Elevation Adjustment
A 1/2" aluminum rod was fitted to the trunnion supporting the polar axis.  Elevation adjustment is controlled with a 1/4-20 threaded brass rod mating with a flexible nut inset into the aluminum rod.  After adjustment, a threaded knob clamps the mechanism in place.

For azimuth adjustment, a pair of interlocking 1/4-20 threaded steel rods were attached to the base of the mount.
A short length of 3/4" steel rod was threaded at 20tpi and used to turn the base.  Handles on either end allowed for adjustment while standing on either side of the mount.
