About Me........

The digital camera and the computer allow for a unique experience for the photographer to explore the world of the artist. As the artist uses paint and a brush, the photographer using the digital image and the computer, creates a new form of photographic experience.

My earliest experiences with photography was with a Kodak 616 bellows camera which was used to take pictures of my adventures on my bicycle around Long Island. My father’s darkroom gave me the opportunity to bring these images to life. I became President of the Paumanauk Camera Club in Port Jefferson and a member of the Photographic Federation of Long Island.

I received a B.E.E. from Polytechnic University and retired from my career in radio communications as Vice President of Engineering for AT&T Wireless. Presently I am a member of the Hampstead Art League and Star Exhibitor in the Photography Society of America.

Since all my goals in picture making could not be accomplished using darkroom techniques, the advance of digital photography satisfied my lifelong envy of artists who could created paintings and avoid unwanted distractions. My photographs demonstrate the expanding horizons of digital photography and the opportunities available to the ‘artist’ who "Paints with a Camera"

My favorite subjects include animal close-ups and scenes from nature.  I presently reside in Hampstead, North Carolina.
