The Isabella County 4-H project Horse members are beginning their thirteenth year of raising funds and are pleased to have the Center over 99% completed. 2007 was very special for us as we received a $200,000 grant from the Morey Foundation which brought us very close to completion. We hope to raise the remaining funds needed to wrap up the project in the next few months.

You can help us meet our goal! Many various groups will use and benefit from this facility. Though the facility is dedicated to equestrian use and exhibition it will reach far beyond horse and rider. Young and old alike (male and female) enjoy going through the barns during fair week and at equestrian events, seeing the animals and looking at the accomplishments of the 4-H members or the equestrians.

We will continue to seek funders that are willing to collaborate with our projects and recognize the unique needs of developmentally challenged youths and youth in general. The 4-H Horse members do not make money from their horses, as the cattle, swine, and small animal members do, by means of auctions and sales. Upon completion of the project, the facility will be self-sustaining.

ALL 150 new stalls are completed.  We have also installed additional water hook-ups on all four exterior sides of the barn and Co-Expo installed 22 new 30 AMP campsite hook-ups just North of the barn.

Upon completion of the stalls the following items remain:

We have teamed up with Country Supply. When you shop Country Supply on their website: www.Countrysupply.com a percentage (up to 5%) of each purchase will be donated to the barn from Country Supply. It's simple and easy...just enter isabella4H where it asks for the country care code at checkout.

Spread the word!  The more you and your friends shop, the more Country Supply will donate. We will receive a check every month that our donation exceeds $50. Don't forget to enter the code....get started with your spring shopping now.
