Hello my name is Mary Weingart and I live in Hampstead, North Carolina.....

After obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts from the College of New Jersey, I went on to graduate studies at Hahnemann University to become a Registered Art Therapist.  I worked as an Art Therapist in Pennsylvania and in Wilmington at the New Hanover Regional medical Center.  I enjoy working in watercolors and pastels and have won several awards in the Silver Arts competition and was juried into numerous  Wilmington Art Association's Spring Art Show and Sale.  I am studying under Mary Ellen Golden and Michael Leahy, primarily with watercolors, and taking pastel workshops.

My interest in using the camera to compose pictures for painting, led me into the wonderful world of Digital Photography.
