Greetings to
all!
Another year
and only chord charts to show for the album
only known as
Bellevue
Shuffle.
Still
juggling this project with any number of day
to day life stuff, but anticipate starting
the recording process at some future date.
Been reading
“Necronomicon” by H.P. Lovecraft – great
short stories of horror & the macabre.
Rising early in the morning to do “The
Artist Way” journaling process to help break
down barriers to opening up the creative
process. Feels good to just let it all out
on paper. Its like a detox of sorts. I’ve
finally finished the song I’ve been working
on for years – Time To Fly. Now I’ve been
practicing it to bring up to performance
level. The song has a sci-fi theme, dark
and uncertain, loosely based on William
Gibson’s novel, “Neuromancer”.
On the
matrix/internet side of life, Pat Rodriguez
and I have our Panacea: Tropical Pop Music
Duo page on face book. On
www.myspace.com/elliottranney,
there is a nice slide show backed by a sound
track of snippets of cover tunes and
originals Pat and I recorded last year. We
have some posted shows on the tour section
of this web site with more to come. Hope
you all are having “A Good Life” and please
let me know you’ve stopped by.
Take
care! Elliott
