I have two older used Cress kilns in my studio for sale. Both are Model FTE28 and are each 10 cu foot 28” octagon top loaders with “Firemate” thumb wheel that automatically turns kiln up according to choice of speed and temp control that turns kiln off(not digital). Rated for 2350 F/ Cone 10. New elements recently installed and only one glaze firing to Cone 6 and two Bisque firings on each since new elements installed. Both were fired this past week to Cone 6 with good results. Both kilns have had bricks repaired and one had crack down center of top lid but that has been repaired so it looks ugly. Elements are new in both and a full set of new elements for each kiln cost us $282 plus we have installed them. One kiln is a few years older than the other and I would like $250 for older kiln with repaired lid and $450 for the other or $600 for both. Buyer must remove from my studio (ground floor one step up, easy access to outside) for these prices. These kilns are wired direct into fuse boxes in my studio but receptacles and corded plugs are available if you do not want to wire direct.
