Totems
as Art Forms Paul Niejadlik spent three weeks in the summer of 2002 on an exciting excursion into the Alaska and British Columbia Inside Passage on a search of totem poles. He has taken a very artistic view and looked at these totems and photographed these totems as pieces of art and created a collection of graphical images of totems and their surroundings. His images are showcased here and are available for sale in various sizes. All images were created with very high resolution digital cameras and have been printed with traditional archival photo papers. Paul has been teaching middle school art in Palmer, MA for thirty years and loves teaching. His major project he is about to embark on with his art students is to carve 10 foot totem poles for his classroom doorway.
