The Keys to the Kingdom of the Heavens can be found on this Island

Hello, Welcome to Ennis Island. I pray that your visit to Ennis Island will change your life forever.
My wife Linda and I are Christians first and foremost. We worship God through the manifestation of God known most commonly as the Lord Jesus Christ. You might say: how does anyone worship God? and the answer should always be: I try to keep my will out of the way so that the will of The Christ, Jesus may be done through me.
Our God is one God whom has chosen to manifest Himself in three different ways.
( God, The Father, God, The Son [the Christ, Jesus], and God, The Holy Ghost ).
Each manifestation has a specific purpose and that is to see that the manifest Will and purposes of our three times Holy God be carried out to the last jot and tittle.
If you would like to know more about how to develop a personal relationship with Jesus, The Christ, I can tell you personally, it is a treasure that has greater rewards than any that can ever be found anywhere else. Period.
Similar to the deception found in the World around us today, Satan would like for you to ask yourself the same thing that he asked Eve ( Yea, hath God said...? ) [Genesis 3:1]
A person deceives themselves when they question what thus sayeth the Word of God and when they change the Word to suit their own view of reality. The Word of God says that we have all sinned and come short of the Glory of God. [Romans 3:23]
Our sin nature (the nature we inherited from Adam) tells us that we are, indeed, good enough to go to heaven of our own works but is that what God says?
[Romans 3]
10 As
it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
11 There is none that understandeth, there is none
that seeketh after God.
12 They are all gone out of the way, they are
together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
13 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their
tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
15 Their feet are swift to shed blood:
16 Destruction and misery are in their ways:
17 And the way of peace have they not known:
18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.
Look at what God says about the darkness of the natural man's heart:
[Jeremiah 17:9] The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
The word translated 'heart' in {verse 17:9} is the Hebrew word 'Leb' meaning 'soul'.
So you see, fallen, natural man produces sin like apple trees produce apples. It is our nature!!! Why?
Because we inherited this soul nature from Adam.
God had given Adam a commandment:
16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying,
Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and
evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou
shalt surely die.
Now we know that God wasn't referring to bodily, physical, death here because Adam lived to be 930 years of age. We also know that Adam and Eve's soul bodies did not die on that day because they still had their mental and emotional faculties. So the only other bodies left to die was their spirit bodies; the faculty of being able to commune and fellowship with God died.
Imagine for a moment that the Spirit body is like your telephone. Let's say that your Father lives many mile away, across the ocean. But, that is OK because at least you can pick up your telephone and call him.
Now let us imagine that your telephone just died, {stopped working} one day and you could no longer call your Father from your home. Well, that is exactly what happened to Adam and Eve. The day they sinned against God their Spirits died {stopped Working} and they could no longer call on God.
Now everyone who was born after Adam and Eve was born without a Spirit Body. You might say, how do you know that? And, I would say because the Word of God told me.
This means that Seth was born without a spirit body having only a physical and soul body like his fallen father.
So you see, Seth was conceived in the image of Adam the fallen, sinful man, not in the image of God. God's word says that everyone who has not been born of the Spirit of God is an unsaved person. An unsaved person cannot fellowship with God because, they were born in a fallen and sinful state, they have a no Spirit body with which to communicate with God. If an unsaved man dies the physical death and they haven't been born again of the Spirit of God, they will be cast into the Lake of Fire for the everlasting ages.
Now I hear someone asking, Why? The answer is because God is Holy and cannot dwell in the presence of anyone who is un-holy and that includes everyone who has not been born again of the Spirit of God by believing What God says about His darling Son.
Now you might ask, Why must I be born again? and the answer again is found in the Word of God, the Holy Bible.
Did you notice that verse 12 said: by one man sin entered into the World? Well, that mans was Adam.
Now you might ask, how can I remove the sin from my life? And, the answer is that you can't but God has provided another way for sin to be removed from your life so that you can be born again of the Spirit of God and be saved.
You see God came here to the Earth and created a physical body in the virgin womb of Mary, the mother of Jesus. God manifested Himself {in the flesh} so that he could die as a sacrifice for the sins of the whole world and that includes my sins and your sins. God Himself died for our sins through death of the flesh of the man Jesus, the Christ.
So you see, when we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, {that He is the son of God or God manifest in the flesh and our Saviour}, our spirit is reborn by the breath of the Holy Spirit [sometimes known as the baptism of the Holy Spirit] and God causes our spirit body to be born again and the Holy Spirit places the seal of God upon that spirit body until the day of redemption.
The day of redemption is the day when Christ Jesus will cause all saved people {Christians} who have died to come out of their Graves and go to meet Him in the Air {the Kingdom of Heaven}, but that is not all. Just a second after the dead Christians have been called to go to the Kingdom of Heaven, all of the Christians who are alive, at that time, will be changed and also go to into the Kingdom of Heaven to meet with Jesus.
Let's look at all of this as Jesus was talking one night to Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.
Nicodemus came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. [John 3:1-2]
We have no hope of ever becoming good enough, through our own works, to meet God's standards of righteousness. Our own souls are dark so God has no other choice but to see us as nothing more than an enemy that has rebelled against His commandments.
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. (Whole Chapter: In context: )
One could say if we have sinned one time {and we have for we are born with dark, deceitful souls} [Jeremiah 17:9] that is all it takes for us to be separated forever from a three times Holy God in the Lake of Fire, for the everlasting ages. But no, dear reader. If we think that we have missed the point entirely. It is not what we have done but rather what Adam and Eve did thousands of years ago when they chose to break the one commandment that God had given them.
So, God has provided for us a "free" gift that will forever remove our sins from the sight God by His own divine will. The gift is everlasting life through the blood of God's only begotten son Jesus, The Christ. [John 3:16]
God manifested Himself in the form of a human being, born of a virgins womb, conceived of the Holy Ghost ( not conceived by man with Man's sin nature but by a manifestation of God Himself ) and ultimately the only person ever born who had never committed and will never commit the first sin.
This God-man, Jesus, laid Himself down on a Roman cross and shed His blood for all men's sins [Hebrews 9:22], past, present, and future, for this is what God, the Father had required of His one and only obedient Son.
Jesus would take all men's sins on Himself {just as Adam had done in stepping down for Eve and taking sin upon himself, Christ stepped down from his place on high for his future bride {The Church of the Firstborn}, thus, taking sin upon Himself} [1 Timothy 2:14] so that all men could be given the chance to believe God concerning the Lord Jesus, the Christ. And in so doing receive the gift of their personal salvation from everlasting separation from our Divine Creator.
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and
thy house.
(Whole Chapter: In context: )
This is spirit salvation. This is the experience of being "born again" of the Spirit.
Spirit salvation is free and it is forever. Spirit salvation is never taken away. The reborn spirit of man has God's seal upon it. Man's reborn spirit is God's possession and no man {not even your own self} can rend it from His possession.
Spirit salvation means that God will adopt us into His family and if God says He will then we may consider it already a fact, it is done. [Romans 8:15, Romans 8:23, Galatians 4:5]. But don't forget that spirit salvation is just the foundation. It is just the beginning.
Please don't confuse spirit salvation with soul salvation or salvation of the body.
The salvation of the soul and body can only be realized after the rapture of the church. For some Christians salvation of the soul and body will come before the Judgment Seat of Christ, at the out-resurrection from among the second dead.
See The Mystery of the Second Death for scriptural references and an in depth study.
The Apostle Peter says that the saving of the soul occurs at the end of our faith, not the beginning; as in spirit body salvation.
[1 Peter 1:9] Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
Folks, the end of our faith is death and the next main event, after death, is the second death and next event, for the faithful Christian, will be the out resurrection from the dead and the Judgment Seat of Christ.
However, for the unfaithful Christian, the next event, after the second death, which is loss of soul salvation, is being reserved unto judgment unto the last day and the last trump and the Great White Throne judgment.
[John 12;48] He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
[1 Corinthians 15:52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
This does not mean that we lose our everlasting life or spirit salvation. This is impossible!
But what happens if we sin after we are 'born again' of the Spirit?
After Christ died and after having been three days in the bowels of the Earth {the grave}, God raised Christ up to sit at God's right hand.
The office of our Lord and Saviour today is that of the High Priest and He is ever listening for the confession of the ongoing sins, of those who believe in Him, as we live our day to day lives.
[1 John 1:9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
You see, even after we have believed in Christ as our Saviour and have come to rest in Christ, we will continue to sin because of our old sin nature. The old dark soul is still with us and, we are still wrapped up in this old body of flesh until the day we die.
[Jeremiah 17:9-10] The heart {soul} is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
Now, what is required of us to let God know that we understand that we are sinners without hope? What does the Word of God say?
[John 3]
We can have confidence that the Holy Spirit wants
us to be assured that we can "know" that we are saved by the grace and
power of God and that it is only though belief in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, plus nothing, and minus
nothing, that we
may be saved.
But, first He wants us to be convinced that, because of our "sin state", we have no hope of ever having a relationship with God through our own works of the flesh.
[Romans
3]
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Jesus was crucified being the only sinless blood sacrifice acceptable for God to wipe away our past, present, and future sins forever. This was done to give believers a foundation from which they can begin building their own works {dying to self on a daily basis and allowing Christ to be seen in us and through us}. Did you get that?
Our work, after we have been born again, is to die daily unto self so that Christ can live daily through us.
Jesus was resurrected, [came back from the dead], on the third day, after he died on the cross. Now Jesus sits at the right hand of God the Father in heaven as our High Priest interceding on our behalf for ongoing sin in our lives.
We must confess 'any' ongoing sin.
[1 John 1:9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If you have genuinely believed {with all your heart} that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He took all of your sins upon Himself when He laid Himself down on the Cross for all men's sins, you now have a born again spirit inside of you and the Holy Spirit now will live inside your new born spirit forever.
This is not a light thing!!!
Did you know that the Angels of Heaven rejoice every time a person is born again of the Holy Spirit of God? Rejoice, and again I say Rejoice, You have been born again!!! You will live forever in the presence of God!!! Halleluiah, Glory be to God, AMEN and AMEN!
Let's look at an example of rejoicing when the Eunuch of Ethiopia got saved.
[Acts 8]
So, we see here that believing with all your heart in the Lord Jesus Christ is the key to being spiritually reborn!
In the above scripture Phillip was only answering the Eunuch for the sake of clarification: "If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest", but even that clarification is not required for our spiritual rebirth for that would be adding our works to the works of Christ and that is expressly forbidden.
All that is required is to believe God. Believe that Jesus, the Christ {God's son and yet, God manifest in the flesh} died for your sins and arose on the third day, thus, overcoming death, hell, and the grave.
"Our own works of the flesh" are not considered, by our Lord, to be worthy of bringing us to a righteous state before God.
Many practice a form of religion but deny the power thereof. [2 Timothy 3:2-5]
They say prayers and do confession throughout the day long, but, they, in their heart, are not genuine in doing these things. They only do them {in the flesh} for the outward show, for the sake of glorying in their own piousness, in the sight of men, they might look religious and thereby be accepted of men for the sake of traditions and not for the sake of worshiping Christ Jesus {God}.
Christ knows when we are genuine in our hearts concerning our belief that Jesus, The Christ, is the Son of God and that it is only through the sacrifice of Him that our sins could ever be forgiven so that we might have an ongoing relationship with our God. Therefore, works {even prayer and confession of sin} is not required for you to be saved {born again}. Belief is the only requirement. Believing God when he says believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.
Remember!
God is a tri-part being. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. He manifests Himself in three different or distinct ways, but He is ONE GOD.
Adam and Eve were created in the image of God as three part beings {spirit, soul, and body}, but Adam and Eve sinned and their spirit body died.
We must be born again of the Spirit to have a relationship with God for the everlasting ages.
The Holy Spirit will help you to make the right decisions in your new spiritual journey to a new eternal inheritance with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, our God if we obey His commandments and confess ongoing sins to Christ Jesus through unceasing prayer.
Satan and his minions (your deadliest enemy) will attempt to make you fail in your growth as a Christian. No one but God has the power to help you overcome your own dark soul and the power of the Great Deceiver Satan and overcome the ways of this old dark world.
As long as you live you will suffer being subject to sin.
The Holy Spirit can be your guide and Jesus Christ is the intercessor between us and God the Father. When God beholds the believer, he beholds the believer through the veil of the shed blood of His beloved Son Jesus, The Christ. Jesus shed His blood for our sins on the cross of Calvary. Jesus paid the sin debt for all men, therefore, the sin that was on our account has been transferred to Christ's account, thus, we are fully justified in the sight of God, the Father.
Through Jesus, our prayers go directly to the Throne of God. It's the office of the Holy Spirit to convict us of sin, but, it is up to us to act upon conviction and confess ongoing sin.
Try to always be humble and keep your faith strong. Keep an attitude of prayer and pray much for it is through prayer that we communicate our thoughts and concerns to our most Holy Triune God.
Remember!
Our God is one God whom has chosen to manifest Himself in three different ways.
( God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Ghost ).
Each manifestation has a purpose and that is to see that the manifest Will and purposes of God be carried out to the last jot and tittle.
God's Word
You now need to obtain a good King James Version Bible, preferably a good 'key word' reference edition and read it all the way through from beginning to end. The 1611 version of the King James Bible is taken from the original Greek and Hebrew scriptures and is the closest English translation to the original texts that we have today. I testify of this from personal experience.
The only thing better {than the KJV English version} would be to learn Greek and Hebrew so that you could read the original texts in the original languages. The Old Testament in Hebrew and the New Testament in Greek.
If you have believed, welcome to the ranks of those Christian believers who know that even now the time is very short before the return of Christ Jesus to set up His kingdom over and upon the Earth.
Believers in Christ must make haste now to share this good news with as many of the unbelievers as we possibly can. We surely live in the time of the beginning of the end. [Matthew 13:49] The door of Grace is very close to being shut upon the dispensation of the church.
Go now and do God's will in your life. Spread the good news of the Gospel of the grace of God and may God bless you and keep you in all of your comings and goings and fill you up with His Word/Spirit.
The following links have been inserted here for the sake of those brothers and sisters in Christ who feel that they need to continue on for a time in the foundational teachings of The Gospel of the Grace of God. It is of utmost importance that we have a good grasp upon the foundational teachings before we proceed on to those teachings that are built upon the foundation.
How
to understand, interpret, and apply the Bible!
If
you desire to know more about God and His Word, this study is very
important and life changing! God’s people need to diligently search the
scriptures in the proper way. The way to build our faith (Romans 10:17) and
persevere in the faith is to feast on the Word of God! Unless you know how to
understand and interpret the Bible, you will be greatly hindered from the growth
God desires for you in your Christian walk.
The writer of Hebrews scolded believers for not understanding the deeper things
of God [Hebrews
5:11-14]. As believers, we need to take heed to God’s Word and
grow in grace and knowledge [Ephesians
1:17-19]. This class is designed to encourage
believers in the Word of Truth and give them the tools they need to understand and apply
the Word in their lives.
The NKJV Bible Study Group - Weaverville, NC - The purpose of this group is to increase the understanding of the Bible for students who are reading the Bible for the first time or for others who have returned to reading the Bible and want to gain a better understanding of God's Word.
The salvation of the soul is the next process or work of the Holy Spirit in your life and soul salvation is related to being rewarded with the inheritance which is Christ's to share with the faithful Christian who will overcome. This reward is ruling and reigning with Christ in the Kingdom of Heaven for 1000 years and then afterwards, into the everlasting ages beyond.
Are you ready to discover the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven? The websites below, in addition to some of my own studies, will place the keys of the Kingdom into your possession. If you have believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, you have found the foundation which has placed you into the Holy Place just before the veil that separated us from the Holy of Holies and which was rent from top to bottom when Christ willed Himself to die on the cross of Calvary.
The veil was rent in twain so that you and I could have access to our three times Holy God. Dare to enter through and beyond that veil dear child.
It is my hope that you will find and enter the straight gate and the narrow way beyond the split veil. Unfortunately, there are a great multitude whom have never moved from in front of the split veil, gone through the veil, and begun the race, in the narrow way, for the Prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
The keys to the gate and the narrow way beyond may be found below.
The word "life" in the passage above should have had the word 'the' in front it and thus should have been translated from the original Greek "the Life" or "the Kingdom life". Christ is speaking to His disciples, men who are believers. They already have everlasting life for they have already believed in Christ.
The kingdom life is what is in view here, not being born again of the Spirit of God. If being born again of the Spirit had been the context here, it would mean that we could work our way into heaven and that Christ would never have had to die on the cross of Calvary!
Was Christ talking to the un-saved here?
Why would He give the unregenerate this great pearl of wisdom, as some would have you to believe? In [verse 6] He had already told them "Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you."
Would our Lord then turn right back around and cast this pearl of great wisdom to the unsaved dogs or swine? God forbid!!! Our Lord is giving the brethren a key to Christian living. This is a warning to all believers concerning the destruction of the soul and loss of eternal rewards. [verse 13].

"In [Matthew 11:11], the Lord spoke about John and certain others in connection with John's ministry and positions which individuals would hold in the kingdom being offered to Israel at that time. "The kingdom of the heavens" is simply the rule of the heavens over the earth (Daniel 4:26b) a rule presently under the control of Satan and his angels, as they exercise regal power and authority over the earth, from a spiritual but heavenly sphere, and yet, through the Gentile nations.
Satan and his angels will continue to exercise power and authority in this manner until that coming day when they are forced to relinquish their place in the heavenly spiritual realm and are cast out into the earth (Revelation 12). Then, this same heavenly spiritual sphere of the kingdom will become the place from which Christ and His co-heirs will rule during the Messianic age yet to come.
