"2004
Rock City Awards Nominee for Best Female Tribute"
Foxey Lady is a trio of professional musicians brought together by a love
for the music and performance style of Jimi Hendrix.
The band was honored to spend the 2004 Holiday
Season performing for the U.S. Troops while on a tour of the U.S. Military
Bases in the Balkans.
Born in Eastern Europe, guitarist & lead
vocalist Marija (pronounced "Maria") "Jamie Hendrix"
Krstic-Chin was raised in California and is a graduate of Cal Arts &
Musician's Institute. Jimi’s music is her first love and constant
inspiration.
Bassist & backing vocalist Melissa
"Noelle Redding" Knox recently moved from Reno, Nevada, to study
at the Los Angeles Music Academy, then stayed in Southern California to
share her passion for rock with like-minded players.
Angie “Michelle Mitchell” Tabor holds both a
Bachelor's and Master's degree in music. She works as an in-demand
freelance musician with original artists, tribute and casual acts
throughout the Southern California area.
"The formation of Foxey Lady is our ultimate
expression of appreciation for a true artist and a great influence. Our
desire to honor Jimi’s memory and keep his music alive around the world
has made our journey an incredible experience.”
