Francesca
will paint an upbeat, toe tapping haze over any audience." Her catchy
melodies, often supported by a rock solid band, will have you singing
along with the chorus by the end of each song.
Music has always been very close to Francesca's heart...one can even say
that it pumps through her blood and has, since she was born.
Francesca began studying classical guitar at the
tender age of 7 years. It was there that she began writing music.
Francesca's first touring opportunities began when
she was 9, touring with a very popular children's choir. Her first rock
band was formed in high school. And she has steadily been involved in
touring bands since then.
Francesca began singing again when she was invited
to sing for a doctoral project through CSULA, an opera by Kurt Weill.
Francesca was soon recruited by the music department at CSULA where she
studied classical voice for four years. College was an eye opening
experience for Francesca, she studied in classical choirs, afro-latin
ensembles, commercial music ensembles, operas, you name it...she sang it.
She developed an affection for classical genres.
Discouraged from singing pop music, Francesca was
torn between two worlds. The classical world that had already taken her to
three different continents, as well as provided a steady paycheck and pop
music which was where her heart truly resided.
In 2004, after a dramatic break-up of the band
Minor Setback, Francesca decided to start a solo project. She threw
herself into the studio and started writing. Then she gathered up the
troops and the NTelegents were born. Now, Francesca Valle can be seen solo
or accompanied by the NTelegents at gigs throughout Southern California.
Francesca is also involved in a variety of other
projects including the San Diego Indie Music Fest and her new Non-Profit
"Uniting Through Music".
