Laura Coyle

I rock!

Born in Montréal, Québec, Laura was later raised in Connecticut with an artistic residency in New York City and has been writing and performing for many years. She now resides in Los Angeles where she performs frequently.

Laura has released two full length CD’s, Lift Your Head and Five Mile River Road.

Laura won "Best Female Vocalist" on Ed McMahon's Next Big Star.

Laura's songs can be found consistently in the top 10-20 songs requested on the popular website Audiocandy.com.

Laura has been a featured performer at the annual Martha's Vineyard Singer/Songwriter retreat at the Wintertide Coffee House, started by Christine Lavin and she is a featured artist on a CD compilation of the same name.

Laura was a regular down in New York City’s Greenwich Village at all the popular venues: (The Bitter End, The Village Gate, Cornelia Street Cafe, Cottonwood Cafe, Speakeasy, The Baggot Inn, The Wetlands, Downtime.) Laura regularly toured the tri-state area, Boston and Cape Cod, opening for Jonatha Brooke various times.

Laura has recorded and performed hundreds of her original compositions winning a "Billboard" songwriting contest along the way.

After recording a three song demo in Nashville, she relocated to Los Angeles where she is cultivating a second loyal following on the left coast. LA performances include; The Crooked Bar, Luna Park, Highland Grounds, Little Fridas, The Gig, Genghis Cohen, Scruffy O’Shea’s, Molly Malone's among others.
