girl band straight out of the heart of Oklahoma. Music ranges from Alt.
Country to Rock. We are not a cover band. Just released our 1st CD. Music
is comparable to Indigo Girls and Rascal Flatts
Somebody’s Ex is the latest all-girl band to hit the music scene by
force. Crossing over country, alternative, rock and pop, their music is
impossible to categorize, thus appealing to a wider range of listeners.
They have been compared to artists across the board ranging from Matchbox
20 to Melissa Etheridge to Evanescence to Rascal Flatts, all of which have
inspired their individual and collective musical styles.
Listed as The Oklahoma Gazette’s choice as the
No. 1 band in Oklahoma to see live they have produced a captivating
compilation of original songs on their first self-titled CD, Somebody’s
Ex and have created a live show that leaves the audience salivating
for more.
They hit a local bar in Oklahoma City with a
sold-out, rocked-out CD Release Party that still has people talking today.
Somebody’s Ex is not a cover band, although they incorporate some of the
“hottest” music listened to today within their set lists, they pride
themselves on their ability to create original music that instantly
captivates their audiences. Songs like Falling, What You’re Doing
Here and Those Days have all become crowd favorites.
Somebody’s Ex has learned how to appeal to a spectrum of people ranging
from those who love the country to those who love the contemporary to
those who love the more classic. If you listen to music at all…you will
listen to Somebody’s Ex
Somebody's Ex will be playing live across the
country through the summer of 2007.
