Faith Lutheran Church has a great Sunday's Cool program. Our Sunday's Cool education program runs from Labor Day through Memorial Day. Classes begin at 9:15 am - 10:15 am. We have a rotational program for students PreK - 5th grade. Our 6th grade class helps with teaching the rotational program. Our 6th and 7th grade class meets in the youth room, and our adult class meets in the library. Our Sunday's Cool program is a "rotational" program which utilizes workshops to bring the message of the Gospel to the youth. The workshops are: Parables Playhouse (drama), Disciples Diner (cooking), Thou Art (arts and crafts), and Sunday's Cool Cinema (movie). This "rotational" program is a new way of experiencing Sunday's Cool. We spend four weeks on a theme. The youth are divided into four groups depending on their age. Every week the groups meet in a workshop (one workshop per group.) The next Sunday the group rotates to another workshop and so on. By the fourth Sunday every group will have had session in each workshop. This method of teaching allows each student an opportunity to learn about the theme in four unique and different ways. This dramatically increases the student's ability to retain the message contained in the theme. Sunday's Cool is an awesome program and we encourage everyone to stop by and check it out.
