Dr Eric Hemberg M.D.

Dr. Hemberg provides a full range of Family Medicine. His special interests include diabetes, cholesterol and lipid disorders, asthma, industrial medicine and office surgical procedures. Dr. Hemberg is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
A member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Dr. Hemberg is a native of Canada. He received his pre-med education at Selkirk College, Castlegar, B.C. Canada, and the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, B.C. Canada. After completing his medical degree at the University of British Columbia, he served a Rotating Internship at the Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, B.C.
Prior to beginning his medical practice in Valley, Alabama, he practiced in Langley, British Columbia.
Licensed by the states of Georgia and Alabama, Dr. Hemberg is on the active staff of Lanier Memorial Hospital and the courtesy staff of East Alabama Medical Center.
He is a member of the Medical Association of the State of Alabama, Chambers County Medical Society, Southern Medical Association, the American Academy of Family Physicians and serves on the Board of Directors of Chattahoochee Hospice.
Married and the father of four children, Dr. Hemberg is active in the West Point Rotary Club.
