Dr. Bob Mullins M.D.

Dr Mullins is Board-Certified in Family Medicine. In addition to his active practice, Dr. Mullins is a member of the Alabama Family Practice Rural Health Board. He is currently Chief of Staff at Lanier Health Services.

A native of Selma, AL, Dr. Mullins earned a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Alabama and his M.D. from the University of Alabama School of Medicine.

Following graduation, Dr. Mullins served a Rotating Internship at Lloyd Noland Hospital, Fairfield, AL and a General Practice Residency at The Medical Center, Columbus, GA.

Dr. Mullins is an Alternate Delegate to the American Medical Association for Alabama and an Assistant Clinical Professor for Family and Community Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He has previously served on the Executive Committee, Impaired Physician's Committee for the Medical Association of Alabama; chaired the Ad Hoc Committee on Rural and Indigent Care for the Medical Association of the State of Alabama; served as both Vice Speaker and Speaker of the House of Delegates and College of Counselors, Medical Association for the State of Alabama.

In addition to his professional activities, Dr. Mullins has served on the Board of Directors for Chambers County/Bradshaw Library; the Steering Committee, Project Leadership, Greater Valley Area Chamber of Commerce, the Executive Committee of the Physician's Resource Council, Alabama Family Alliance; and the Board of Trustees, Lanier Memorial Hospital.

He and his wife have three children and three grandchildren. A member of The Church of the Resurrection, West Point, GA, Dr. Mullins enjoys gardening, Baroque music and bioethics.
