This weeks announcement

After much debate, I have decided not to run this Fantasy NASCAR league in 2010.

Over the last few years, my interest in the sport has decreased considerably. I’m not sure whether the reason for this is just me or the changes NASCAR has made to the sport, but I no longer look forward to the next race weekend.

I want to thank everyone who has played over the many years I have run this league. It has been a lot of work, but it has also been (for the most part) a lot of fun.

If anyone is interested in running a similar league or would like to invite others to join another league, let me know and I will help promote it here.

NEW LEAGUE NOW STARTING…

Former player Roger Owens of Minneapolis has started his own league based strongly on the rules of this league. I have no affiliation with this league, but if you are interested, you can check out his league at the following address - http://nascar-fantasy.webs.com/

It looks like he has done a heck of a job getting things set up in a VERY short amount of time.

WELCOME

To everyone who has been playing Gary Laborde's Fantasy Nascar over the years. I'm sure that everyone will agree he did a great job and had a great system. I loved the way his program and he was good enough to let me use it and put Fantasy Nascar back online.

Everything basically will remain the same except the way that you enter drivers and pay your dues.

Please, bear with me while I learn the system, for I am sure there will be mistakes along the way. But I will make plenty of backups so I can fix any problems we have.

A couple of new items that we have is a FORUM and a CHAT ROOM.

The forum gives you a chance to say what's on your mind and the chat room is where you can talk to other players who are online.

Hope you choose to join and if you do that you will have fun!
