It's 1939. Daniel McCormick (Mel) is a test pilot. His girlfriend,
who he wants to marry but fumbles for the words
each time he tries to ask her, is hit by a car before he gets the chance.
She ends up in a coma for over six months.
His friend Harry (Wendt) has a secret project using Cryogenics.
Daniel can't stand to watch
his girl lie comatose and probably eventually die so he asks to be
the Guinea Pig for one year in Harry's experiment.
. The experiment gets "lost" and he's accidentally thawed out,
only it's 1992.
