Million Dollar Hotel
An independent film that Mel Gibson helped to finance through his company Icon Entertainment International.  Hotel is about the death of a billionaire's son in a flophouse, an event that leads a  federal agent/detective (Mel)  to upturn the residents’ lives to find out if the demise was suicide or murder. The picture was written by Bono, lead singer of the rock band U2, with Wenders and Nicholas Klein, who co-wrote with Wenders the director's previous film The End

Well , that didn't happen....in the  movie Mel's sporting a "flat top" haircut.   Mel  likened himself to "Sergeant Carter" from the Gomer Pyle show on ET's March 4 airing on the set of Million Dollar Hotel. ; - )
