The Pre-School Choir is for children ages 3 through Kindergarten and meets at 6:00-6:30 PM on
Wednesday nights during the school year. Pre-School Choir is dismissed during the summer.
Both the Preschool Choir and the Children's Choir sing frequently for worship services.
Children's Choir is for children in grades 1 through 6 and takes place on Wednesday nights
from 6:00-6:30 PM during the school year. Children's Choir is dismissed during the summer.
Children who participate in Children's Choir at First Baptist Church learn the fundamentals of
singing, playing instruments, and music reading, but most of all children learn about God and
how to worship God through music.
Youth Choir is open to youth in grades 7 through 12 and meets on a seasonal basis, Sundays at 5:00 PM.
The youth choir primarily learns and presents musical dramas at FBC and other local churches.
Along with the musicals, the youth choir also does dramatic skits for worship services.
The Adult Choir at FBC is open to anyone who wishes to sing praises to the Lord.
This choir practices each Wednesday from 7:45 to 8:45 PM. The goal of the Adult Choir
is to prepare a wide variety of music that will enhance the Sunday morning worship service.
The Handbell Choir is made up of three octaves of bells. People with rhythm reading
abilities are invited to ring. Prior experience is not necessary. The handbell choir
will meet on a limited, seasonal basis until a new music minister is called by the church to lead rehearsals
on Sundays at 4:00 PM
The Orchestra is open to anyone who has played an instrument for two years or more. Practice is on Wednesday from
5:30 to 6:30 PM. The orchestra plays offertories and special music periodically.
The First Baptist Church of Park Hills is a Southern
