How I found your page: searching for Fergus family history
Comments about the web site: I am related to the Fergus family on my
father's side. His name was Robert D. Fergus. He lived from 6-14-38 to 2-13-94.
I was born Chani Fergus on 12-1-71. My grandfather was Jim Fergus. I have a half
brother named after my father. His birthday is 12-3-63. I have one uncle named
afer my grandfather, and I also have an aunt. Her married name is Patricia
Upton. My grandfather was in the Navy, and he was at Pearl Harbor during the
attack. My aunt and uncle currently live in California. I am trying to look for
my brother, and I thought that I might be able to find him through here. I also
wanted to learn about my family tree on my father's side. Nobody has ever told
me anything about this side of my family. I would greatly appreciate any
information about my family. Thank you very much, Chani Sarmir.

Comments about the web site: Looking for a James Fergus who fathered a
William Fergus with a woman named Ellen Hall Bardsley. We are trying to piece
together the history. Ellen said on her death bed she met James in St. Louis,
Missouri. Looking for my mother's Fergus geneology line. We think
her line came through Samuel Fergus, but we have not information yet to prove
it. We are looking for a James Fergus that married an Ellen Hall about 1854 in
St. Louis,Missouri.
