News

Fayette Friends of Animals periodically sponsors rabies clinics. We also do spaying and neutering. Call the shelter at 724-434-1422 for more information.

Visit us at the Hempfield Square Shopping Center PETSMART on Route 30 just outside of Greensburg, PA. Usually we are there on Wednesday and Friday evenings as well as on Saturdays and Sundays. Our pets would love to see you and perhaps visit with you for a while. A short visit can often be the beginning of a long term relationship. They say, "COME ON OUT!"
By the way, we their human foster parents say the same, COME ON OUT. We'd love to meet you.

Fayette Friends of Animals unfortunately has a limit on the number of pets it can take in because of it's limited space and the number of volunteers to adopt these pets. A loving home for each pet will increase the number of new pets that can be accepted into the shelter.

  • Everyday in the U.S. tens of thousands of puppies and kittens are born. With some 11,000 human births each day, there are clearly not enough homes for all these pets.

  • Each year millions of stray animals suffer and die on the streets.

  • Spaying and neutering helps pets live longer and healthier lives. It eliminates testicular, uterine, and ovarian cancer, and reduces the risk of breast and prostate cancer.
