Because recycling aluminum cans helps the environment while you help the dogs and cats in your local animal shelter!"
How does recycling aluminum cans help your shelter?
Aluminum food and beverage cans your bring to your local participating shelter will be recycled for needed operating funds. And during September, October, & November, Friskies PetCare Company will donate a free case of FriskiesŪ canned catfood, Fancy FeastŪ Gourmet canned cat food, and Mighty DogŪ canned dog food to every participating "Paws to Recycle" shelter. By recycling aluminum cans, you can also help your local animal shelter win a $3,000.00 grand prize for recycling initiative and community involvement.
Why is Friskies PetCare Company supporting this program?
As a leader in producing high quality pet food, Friskies advocates responsible pet ownership. But taking care of animals also means taking care of the environment we all share. That's why we package Friskies, Fancy Feast, and Mighty Dog in cans made from 100 percent aluminum. And now, every aluminum can you recycle will help both the environment and your shelter's animals.
How can you tell if your cans are aluminum?
Take a small refrigerator magnet and see if it sticks to the can. If it doesn't stick, the can is aluminum!
