This is my first motorcycle.  A 1978 GoldWing that I kept for 1 year and put on about
5,000 miles including my first long ride (Boaz, AL to Panama City Beach, FL).  Tell anyone wanting to get a Harley to get a jap bike first; It hurts less to screw up a $1000 bike when you slide thru an intersection or do something else stupid.
