Fickle

Jiffy Pop owns you
take a rest
Jiffy Pop owns you
take a rest
There's no way I can be at my best
The air is thin in here
It gets in the way of my duties

Do I hate you
Do I love you
Do I hate you
Do I love you
Thank God for heat-shrink tubing
My shoelaces were so long
I kept tripping

Legalized drugs for the masses
hot springs meet your needs
Legalized drugs for the masses
hot springs meet your needs
Al Gore is the friend you've longed for
He'll buy you lunch
Asking only for your servitude and loyalty as payment

When I was nothing but a little boy
The world even less fun, back then
All the girls preferred bad boys
Violent little playground czars
Prepubescent machismo abounded
I thought things would change
But then years went whizzing
And yet today it's the same
Why did they never mature?
Everwhere women taunt me!
I'm not what they desire
My God, they're fickle!
Now, I must inform you
My world is exploding
But you know my pain
Crackling all afire
My body fuels this
Eerie fiery blaze
I'm awash in sin
And I know that
I am forgotten
This ought to
Hurt a bunch
But my soul
Is all but
dissolved
broke up
cracked
eroded
broke
shot
ugh
ow
!

Written Halloween 2000, with not a shred of spite in my heart.  I SWEAR!
