Mini-Mart, 260 W. Columbia River Hwy, Clatskanie, Oregon
Directions: Follow US hwy 30 from Portland 61 miles to Clatskanie. Mini-Mart is across from Safeway.
Parking: Park in Safeway parking lot, and walk across US 30 to Mini-Mart to register and start your walk.
Event Info: Daily, dawn to dusk. Suitable for strollers but no wheelchairs. Route is all on paved roads, streets and sidewalks, goes through the City Park and crosses the Clatskanie River. Route passes the former Clatskanie Hospital building, where writer Raymond Carver (1938-1988) was born. Few moderate, short hills. 1k option to Shooting Star Lavender Farm qualifies for WOC Flower (June - September).
