flat, gravel and sand or paved bike trail. Trail rating of 2+ is

and
walkers must negotiate a path through driftwood. During summer

Good route for pets. Nehalem Bay State Park is located on a spit
between Nehalem Bay and the Pacific Ocean. Route follows a gravel
and sand path to the north jetty for a view of the mouth of the
bay. Area is rife with wild life; deer, elk, eagles, and seals
have all been spotted here by participants. Route follows soft
sand
path over a steep dune and through driftwood to ocean beach.
Looking south you can see Twin Rocks at Rockaway Beach. You will
turn north and walk about 2 miles along the magnificent Pacific
Ocean with Neahkahnie Mountain in the distance. Route
goes inland over the dune on a steep, soft sand path to the start area
(restrooms available). Continue on park road to paved bike path
for a peaceful bay view; then return to start point.

Mountain on either option. Ends
