Year of Wild Magic, 14 Present Reckoning, 20th of Eleasias
My Love,
As I wrote in my last letter I have joined the Adventurer’s Guild
today, who put together with a new group of adventurers. The irony
of this still does not escape me. After all of these years I am now
an adventurer myself. Still, not all members of this ‘profession’
are trouble makers as you know.
As to my new companions, I think my luck has been mixed – despite
one of them being a priest of Tymora. We certainly seem to have a
mix of styles and skills, although I am dubious about the usefulness
of some of these skills outside of the city. Still, on the plus side
two of my new companions are dwarves. As dour as dwarves often can
be, we have never known a dwarf who wasn’t handy with his weapons
have we?
Meanwhile I will just have to see how things pan out. However
capable my companions are or are not, hopefully there are enough of
them to keep me alive until I have completed my mission.
