Stardate 8012.04 - Warrior Corps disbanded. Lance Corporal Bennu issued new rank of wa'Dich Sogh in the Klingon Imperial Navy. Lance Corporal Bennu reassigned to Assisstant Security Officer on board the IKS maQmIgh-A.

Phoenix Bennu was born in Boise, Idaho on Sept. 22, 2356. Born a special breed, his family line contained both Vulcan and Human Relatives. While he did not have enough Vulcan blood in him to show the extreme Vulcan characteristics, he was born with heightened senses, strength, and intelligence. Phoenix Bennu's childhood was not a simple one, where family matters cause numerous events of extreme value in both positive and negative. Phoenix Bennu went to traditional schooling, and as he was preparing to enter into Senior High School he also entered into remote schooling by the Vulcan Logic Academy. He attended High School on Earth, and by subspace channels, and private instructors he took Vulcan Logic Courses throughout the entire year. Graduating from both High School and the Vulcan Logic Academy at the age of 17, he took some time off and just before turning 18 entered into Starfleet Academy.

While in Starfleet Academy he also enlisted in Starfleet. While this is not a wide-spread way of starting a Starfleet career it is not uncommon. In short, those who are members of Starfleet academy may enlist in reserve division of Starfleet enlisted companies. Those enlisted take classes and go through the normal courses of the academy but also train as enlisted personnel, and provide aid in numerous positions. Many find this a way to better their selves and be a better trained individual. While at the Academy, Phoenix trained not only during the normal semesters but also during the off time. As an obsession, Phoenix wished to be as highly trained as possible when he left the academy. He was training through the Academy as a Computer Scientist, but was also taking extensive courses in Medical Sciences, particular as psychologist and medical doctor. His enlisted post put him as an assistant on the simulators and minor computer stations.

Phoenix also was a part of the Academy flight team. He earned a post on Red Squadron as the Tactical Officer, and then was promoted to Red Squadron XO during his senior year. However, the CO of red squadron was killed when he was during repairs to one of the razor class fighters and an explosion burnt him so bad that he passed away before emergency med teams could arrive. Phoenix then took over as CO of Red Squadron during the latter part of his senior year, and had the unfortunate duty of leading the fly by at the funeral for the former CO, with the missing man formation.

Phoenix Graduated from the Academy with a Minor in Medical Science and a Major in Computer Science. His enlisted position was now a Petty Officer First Class before he took his post as a Lt. JG. working as an Asst. Instructor in the Computer Science Dept. at the Academy, in order to attend advanced courses at the Academy. He spent the next three years training and teaching at the academy. He took advanced Computer courses and received an MD in Medical Sciences.

He then took on a post aboard the USS California as Chief Medical Officer at the rank of Lieutenant. He served aboard the USS California for awhile, while it became the USS California-A and the USS California-B. During this time he was also promoted to Lt. Commander and took over as Chief Operations Officer, wanting a position on the bridge. Later he was also promoted to Executive Officer, during which time Captain Tydirian, the Co of the USS California, was promoted to Fleet Captain and taken off the bridge of the ship. A new Captain was temporarily in place until command was handed over to the Phoenix, and he was Given the Promotion to Commander. The USS California was decommissioned shortly after however, and Cmdr. Phoenix Bennu was reassigned to the USS Axis as Commanding Officer to test out a new ship design. The USS Axis NX-77701 was a failed design due to the failed attempt to combine a galaxy class and Miranda class starship. The idea was to create a science vessel with versatile tactical capabilities-Designed for long range reconnaissance.

Commander Phoenix Bennu was then volunteered for an officer exchange program. His Starfleet status was placed as "retired" in order to be placed aboard a Klingon Ship for an extended mission; since the command structure was not to be based directly on the prior ranking of individuals within the program.

Phoenix Bennu was now given the position of Ensign aboard the IKS MaQmIgh as the Chief Damage Control Officer. He spent a brief time there, and was easily promoted to Chief Tactical/Operations Officer to fill a much needed position in a crew that was too small at the time. When more crew was assigned to the program he took on a position as Chief of Security, while serving as a tactical officer Phoenix learned from experienced Klingon Officers about Security procedures, and was trained to be a security officer. He also trained in a pilot program that was created to have Marine Corps. Personnel stationed on the ship. Phoenix trained and was soon given the title of Klingon Marine and Team leader. The Marine Corps. program was then decommissioned due to lack of training for such positions aboard the ship, so Phoenix Bennu continued solely at his post of CSEC. However, private matters began to trouble Phoenix at the time and he was unable to fulfill his duties fully as Chief of Security, and stepped down to asst. Chief for the betterment of the crew.

By this time Phoenix had been promoted from Ensign to Lt. Junior Grade, and then to Lieutenant (During the time he served as a Marine, special ranking titels and insiginia were also used that were equivalent to the standard titles and insiginia). The IKS MaQmIgh had been refitted to the IKS MaQmIgh-A and then destroyed. The new ship was commission the IKS MaQmIgh-B in honor of the previous ship which served them for so long.

Lt. Phoenix Bennu found an opportunity to head a very valuable department within the ship and took the opportunity. He made a request to be placed as the Squadron Commander for the IKS MaQmIgh-B's fighter squads. He was granted the position, and served as the Sq. Commander and ship Medic.
