The Foster Township Police Department police officers are members of Fraternal Order of Police,

William Hanley, Sr. Lodge #67

The lodge was chartered August 22, 1933. The William Hanley Sr. Lodge up until March 1, 1992 represented the officers of the Bradford City Police Department. On March 1, 1992 the Foster Township and Bradford Township Police Departments changed from the Bucktail Lodge to the William Hanley, Sr. Lodge. Now the Lodge represents all three local Police Departments.

The lodge is not a union however does represent local police officers in the following ways:

The lodge provides legal representation in cases of civil litigation.

The lodge provides assistance in contract negotiations

The lodge provides some support for officers or their families that are injured or killed in the line of duty.
