Wildlife Biologist and Contract Administrator: Robin Galea
Robin serves as the contractor's representative for US Forest Service contracts and is the primary contact for agency inquiries. She has coordinated survey schedules for 30+ surveyors for a one and a half million acre survey area. She conducts surveys, places stations, and prepares maps and data forms, compiles and submits reports of survey data and schedules to clients and prepares final reports. She hires, trains and supervises staff, reviews data forms and maps, and field checks wildlife technician work as part of our inspection system. Robin is familiar with sensitive, threatened and endangered species issues, and works closely with GWC projects, from preparing proposals, background research, surveying, and document preparation.

Prior to 1994, Robin was employed for twelve years for the National Park Service. Her last position was Public Affairs Officer and assistant to the Superintendent at Redwood National Park. She is familiar with federal lands issues and regulations, contract administration, and budget. She received Special Achievement, Quality Increase and Fast Track awards. She left the NPS to pursue a career in wildlife management. Robin has a B.S. in Wildlife Management from Humboldt State University.

Additional Personnel
GWC only utilizes individuals who have earned or are in the process of obtaining a Bachelor or Masters degree in the wildlife sciences and who have at least one season of experience surveying. Most employees have several years of survey experience. We stress professionalism, quality, independence, efficiency and safety in personnel.

GWC also works closely with a cadre of other resource professionals to meet individual project needs, such as foresters, botantists, hydrologists, and engineers.
