How to back up your registry in win98
-->BACK UP THE WINDOWS 98 REGISTRY
The Registry is the database that tells Windows how to run.
It's a pretty important file so it's important to back it up:
--Click Start >> Run
--Enter "msinfo32" (without the quotes)
--Click OK. Microsoft System information will open.
--Click the Tools menu, and select Registry Checker
To recover to a backup, restart the computer and go to DOS by
pressing the F8 key as the system boots. At the command
prompt, enter "scanreg/restore" (without the quotes) and
select a previous backup. What a lifesaver!
