Miniatures
After working with pottery clay, I thought Fimo and Cernit
would be similar. But the similarity ends with the word
"clay" on the package. Working with a clay that didn't need
a special oven, freed me to work at home. Art studies in high
school and college had given me the basics of creating the
human form; a love of dolls helped. People in everday life were
my favorite subjects, and I sometimes emphasized features to
bring out the personality. All the dolls are anatomically correct,
so that the cloth clothing drapes properly.
