Some time in the middle 1990's, a guy named Dan Erni (who I do not know) put together this obscure classic rock database.   It certainly helped me putting my collection together, and reminding me of songs that I would have most likely forgotten.

The link to this site had been down for some time, and I wanted to re-instate its web presence.   I happened to save the database to my computer, so here it is in all of it's glory!

The layout of the database is quite simple.  The links above are organized by Artist/Group Name and are broken into segments of either numbers (for groups like 707, .38 Special, 10CC, etc.) or letters.   If the artist is known by his or her proper name (such as Robert Palmer or Joe Byrd and the Field Hippies), then the listing is placed by the letters of the person's last name.   If the group name is based on a fictional person's name (like Mason Profitt, Max Webster, Marshall Tucker Band, etc.), then the listing is placed by the letters of the first word in the title.   After alphabetizing by the artist/group name, the database is organized by an alphabetical arrangement of the song titles. The album titles, when known, follow suit.

If you do not know the name of the artist, you can search by Song Title.

Enjoy!  And go buy yourself some music!
