Here's a few hot tips for the neatest cost free modifications:

    Make Her Roar...

Take your air box off, I think it's 4 or 6 bolts. Then remove a small tube before (in front of) the air box, if I remember right, the tube is about 2 or 3 inches long. This tube connects the air filter box to a bagpipe noise resonator thing down inside the front fenderwell. To finish, bolt your air box back on.
    RESULTS:
  • This will give your engine a deep WAAAAA... over 5500 rpms that can't be beat.
  • The air is still being filtered - so no problems there.
  • The time it takes do the mod is less then 5 minutes.
  • If you don't like it, the intake can be put back to stock in less then 5 minutes.
Don't be afraid to try this mod - you'll like it!
If you want to you can remove the bagpipe thing under the wheelwell too, but it takes about an hour. You have to take off the right front wheel, pull back the fenderwell liner and remove the black front apron cover thingy to get it out. I would recommend only doing this if you are going to install an aftermarket intake system. With the stock airbox on, the modification isn't noticeable.

How To Make Your Wiper Look Like A Lamborghini Diablo's:

  • Completely remove the drivers side wiper arm and store in garage until winter.
  • With the passenger side wiper arm, take it off and rotate it 45 degrees clockwise so that it is roughly pointing toward the upper corner of the passenger side of the windshield.
  • Bolt wiper arm back on in this position.
  • Turn on wiper and adjust as necessary.
  • *NOTE* You may have to lean toward the right a little in heavy rain :=)
  • In the winter you will want to return your set-up to stock. .

How To Make Your 'Sols Front Corner Lenses Clear:

No it isn't a yellow bulb inside a clear lense... It has a clear lens, then an amber lense inside, then a clear bulb. The trick is to remove the amber lense. Here's how:
  • You take out the screw that holds the housing to the car and pull out the bulb.
  • Once you have the housing in your hand, you can see that inside the hole there is a amber lense inside.
  • Putting the housing between your legs. Take a screwdriver and a hammer and drive the amber lense loose inside.
  • Now comes the tricky part...
  • Once the amber lense is rattling around inside take 2 needle nose plyers, crush the amber lense into little pieces and shake them out.
  • *NOTE* Try not to scratch the inside of the clear housing. It has a reflective coating on it.
  • Reinsert the bulb and bolt the housing on.
