Pastor
Michael Wilke was born in Austin, Minnesota on July 29, 1962, where he and his
family were members of St. Paul’s Lutheran.
He and his family were also members of Immanuel of Mankato, MN and Grace
of Fridley, MN before moving to Bismarck, ND in 1972.
Pastor attended Immanuel Lutheran College of Eau Claire, Wisconsin from 1976 – 1981 and from
1982 to 1988. His first parish was
in Fairfax, VA, where he served from 1988 – 1992.
Pastor Wilke also served Good Shepherd of Rapid City, South Dakota from
1992 – 2002.

In 1990 he was joined in marriage to
Miss Gloria Reim. Gloria is the
daughter of Pastor Emeritus Norbert Reim.
While growing up, her father served congregations in Seattle, WA and
Phoenix, AZ.

|
Gloria graduated from the teacher
training program of Immanuel Lutheran College in 1986.
|
|
She taught grades 1 – 4 at Gethsemane
Lutheran of Spokane, WA for four years.
She is currently a teacher here
at Gethsemane Lutheran School.

Pastor and Gloria have four children:
Luke, Nathaniel, Aaron and Jesse.

|
The
Wilkes enjoy camping, hiking and fishing. Baseball,
basketball, and football are the favorite sports of pastor and the boys.
After evening devotion, the boys also enjoy hearing their father read a
chapter or two out of some exciting adventure book.

We
