Adam Giacobazzi
Adam Giacobazzi
(Adam Giacobazzi for the uninitiated)

Get to know Adam through the art of Questioning:

Q: Who are you?
A: Adam Summers Giacobazzi.

Q: What is your quest?
A: To know the true nature of the universe.

Q: But isn't the purpose of your life obvious to you the way it is to me?
A: No, I doubt anyone who purports to know the true nature of existence, though I trust those who are looking for it.

Q: So what happens if YOU find the true nature of existence?
A: I suspect I will go insane, or at least others will perceive me to be. Who could blame them?

Q: Speculating such an outcome begs the question "why this quest?"
A: It's a fire I can't resist.

Q: No, seriously, why bother trying if the prize you seek is so alienating and the quest so lonely?
A: I think the answer you seek from me is that any truth I find will ultimately be individual truth, not something I can dole out to others.

Q: Maybe you're just wasting your time--maybe you're stupid.
A: Is that a question?

Q: What I meant to ask was: since your views are your own, what are your views on organized religion?
A: I've tried to summarized my perspective in a 1 page paper viewable here in pdf form.

Q: That's just about one religion, what about the rest?
A: I know it's hard to tell them apart but, I did mention 18 religions. That's the point I wanted to make. On a very fundemental level it is hard to tell religions apart. And since some claim mutual exclusivity I do not choose one.

Q: What beliefs have you aquired so far?
A: All's fair in love and war.
Do onto others as you'd have done to you.
Actions speak louder than words.
If something's important, you make the time.
If you want peace, then live alone.
Nobody can make you feel inferior without your consent.
You can easily judge the character of others by how they treat those who can do nothing for them or to them.
There are things worth dying for.

Q: Where are you going on your quest?
A: Anywhere I have to.
